Eric Trevett – Safeguarding

Eric has lived in Copthorne for 36 years and grew up in West Dorset, leaving home to read French and Spanish at London University. After graduating, he stayed in London and began working for H M Customs & Excise. He remained with C&E being transferred periodically to Wembley, Redhill and twice to Gatwick, retiring in 2011. He has been married to Jill for 42 years and they have two grandchildren with whom they love to spend as much time as possible. He was appointed to the magistracy in 1989 and continues to sit, mainly in Crawley and Worthing, in both the adult and youth courts. He enjoys walking with the U3A, traveland theatre.
